DESCRIPTION: The Safari Crash Course Workshop builds basic camera & equipment knowledge to help you capture amazing pictures while you’re on Safari. This course is designed for the most novice of photographers who don’t have time to attend a full round of classes. This class cherry-picks, simple easy information that can be applied to safari and wildlife photography in general. This will be a great way to get you jump started without going through extensive education in photography. After a 1-hour discussion in the classroom, we will head over to the Houston Zoo to put your new-found knowledge to use. This will give you the chance to work out the kinks and get familiar with your camera, and recommended equipment while the Instructor is there to assist you. Entrance Fee to the Houston Zoo will be provided for you.

Topics Covered: Fast focus and shooting, difficult lighting, helpful equipment, stabilization, lenses & zoom
