This Excursion gives you a unique chance to get an intimate look at animal life on a working farm. Here you will experience up close encounters with sheep, cattle, livestock guardian dogs, chickens, ducks, and a sassy little pet pig named Maple. Enjoy the silence of the country and take your sweet time strolling 40 acres to photograph farm animals and the beautiful blooming pastures. These farm animals are accustomed to human interaction so you’ll have the luxury of photographing these animal within a fairly close range. Be sure to dress appropriately for the outdoors… The working dogs you’ll encounter are very friendly but are well known for inadvertently slobbering on the people they greet. Animals on the farm are completely free range so be sure to drive very slow and cautious when entering the property. This farm breeds, trains, and sells livestock guardian dogs so there is a possibility that puppies will be roaming. Puppies are adorable but please do not touch or interact with puppies as it can interfere with their training!!
