Class Description
This is a one-day 2-hour class teaching you the art of composition in photography. Learning this aspect of photography develops your artistic side in photography. You will be shown some the most proven methods in composing images and the underpinning artistic principles. Learn to look at the world around you with a different eye, and photographically interpret your artistic vision. The art of composition is what makes a photographer’s images stand out among the rest. Having a balanced combination of both technical and artistic skill in photography turns an aspiring photographer into a well established one.

The goal of this photography class is to begin creating your own personal style in photography.  From here you can take your images from good to amazing.

    General Information

    Class Location, Timing & Parking

    1. Classroom Address: 807 Rochow St., Houston, TX 77019
    2. Daytime Class Time: 10am – 12:00pm
    3. Evening Class Time: 6pm – 8:00pm
    4. Arrive 15 minutes early: Find parking and get settled into your seat. Please do not arrive late.
    5. PARKING IS LIMITED: We have only 6 parking spaces for our students. Public street parking is also available (see attached parking map.

    What to Bring With You

    1. Print the downloadable notes through your account on our website and bring them with you to class.  (Visit www.everydayphotoclass.com and login to your account using your email address. If you have forgotten your account password you have the option to reset your password.)
    2. Bring a pen and some paper in case you would like to take extra notes during the class.

Class Description
This is a one-day 2 hour class teaching you the depths of Manual Photography. You will learn what it takes to fully control ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed & exposure. We will also cover the importance of “Stops” when gauging your exposures and deciphering lighting. Understanding Manual photography is essential in truly mastering your camera to the greatest depths. This class seeks to fill gaps in your skill set and give you confidence through your knowledge.

The goal of this class is to understand how to completely manage your camera’s ISO, Aperture & Shutter Speed settings and how to use your knowledge to proficiently maneuver your imagery and exposure.

Class Description
This is a one-day 2 hour class that takes you through comprehensive applications of your photographic knowledge. Learn to put your advanced knowledge to use for Landscape, Portrait, Sports, Candid, Nature and Wildlife. We will analyze different photography types and styles for an advanced working knowledge of settings, equipment, filters, accessories and techniques. You will also learn to judge the quality of your exposures in the field to confirm your images are on point. This class will help you think critically in the field..

The goal of this photography class is to begin using your knowledge with a purpose. You will solidify your ability to successfully manipulate a variety of photography scenarios for the best results.

PHOTO Excursions: Receive coaching and support to improve your photographic skills. Join us each month for a photography excursion where we go out & take pictures together “on- location”. Photo Excursions provide you with continuing hands-on practice outside of the classroom. A great way to meet new people all with an interest in photography.

Photo Excursions are always low cost (typically about $20)… just a small fee that helps us cover basic costs for hosting these activities.
